Nice, and hot, in the garden

Most of the day spent gardening, and also catching up on blip - which I still haven’t finished! In the late morning I sat down in the sunshine with a cup of coffee - and I thought, “my goodness, it’s hot!” I scampered upstairs to get some factor 30. Then I thought, I wonder how hot it actually is in the sun? So I put the thermometer where I had been sitting. Well the answer was 36.5c or 99f. So I went to sit in the shade. 
Above is my first ‘Johnson’s blue’ geranium flower this year.  An awful name for a wonderful flower. Saw a few butterflies too. And had a nice long catch up phone call with my son.
