Every night is photo night...

Having been one of the few people on the planet, it seems, to have missed the Aurora last night (largely because I wasn't at home and went to bed quite early) , tonight I went out to see if there would be a repeat performance now that I am back in Argyll. 

There wasn't, but given where I live, there were still stunning pictures to be had almost everywhere one looked, like this view across the river towards the hills above Loch Riddon , where the moon was illuminating a little cloud, high in the sky,. 

Given the rain we get here it isn't completely true to say that every night here is photo night.  But sometimes it seems like that !
