One perfect rose
The first roses of the season have started blooming in my garden, and the smell is just incredible. I don't have many and I cannot remember what type they are but they have done so well in my garden. In the extras you can see the entire rose - as I bent closer to take this close up shot, the perfume was just exquisite.
It was slightly cooler today, a relief after the hot weather yesterday. This afternoon I managed to finish editing my fox images, I like to be up to date with my editing.
As is the norm in UK, camera club images entered for a competition are judged on the night with the members present. However for our annual exhibition we can submit up to six prints and six PDI images so there is too much for the judge to get through in an evening (our club has about 60 members although not everyone enters competitions). So today the judge spent the day judging all the exhibition images, both prints and PDIs, and tonight at our camera club meeting the judge will provide a commentary on at least one image per person and award judges choice winners in various categories. Tomorrow our camera club selection committee will choose which images will be exhibited, we can display up to three images each. There is always so much work involved in the exhibition but it is worth it.
I found kitchen dining chairs and they get delivered at the end of this week, fingers crossed they will be right. I did check the returns policy and how they get returned, at least I won't have to hire a man-and-a-van this time if they are not right! I obviously did not order from that same company.
