L Is For Lichen

We had a fabulous day today. Kat had been to Dawyck Botanical Gardens a long time ago and wanted to take us to see them. She got it just right, the weather was beautiful and the bluebells were flowering EVERYWHERE!

Kat knew I had got up to "L" in my search for a blip and told me the gardens had a special area for lichens. I've made them my main picture but I had to show you how glorious the gardens are too in Extras.

On the way back to Kat's we looked in at a nice little garden centre, Quercus Garden Plants, in West Linton. They do a lot of their own propogation.
