Safe haven

I won't lie. We headed south from Coimbra in search of sun and it was an epic fail!! We got cold wind and rain but we took shelter in this beautiful little church in Santarem, followed by a simple but delicious meal of pork, chips, salad and wine (not easy to find an open restaurant on a Monday!)
All part of our adventure in this part of Portugal. Happy days with my ❤
