Pier Fire

Finally got down to view the results from the fire on the Oceanside Pier three weeks ago. Officials reopen 75% of the pier to visitors, allowing us to get close to what was left of the abandoned restaurant at the end of this historic structure. Considering it is the longest wooden pier in the Western United States, everyone is thrilled that most of the pier remains usable even if the very tip is no longer accessible.
