Colourful

Although still warm, it has been cloudy for most of the day and eventually the threatened rain arrived mid afternoon but not before I managed to do a little gardening. I have been amazed at the beautiful display of azaleas and rhododendrons that we have had this year. It was something like this that I had imagined when we moved a number of the shrubs to an area of sloping land near the house a few years ago, then added to them in the intervening time. However, this year has far exceeded my expectations and the array of colours is giving me so much pleasure.
