At home: dog-cat not helping! X

One of the hottest days of the year, and the strimmer has been going almost non stop. The chickens were desperate for fresh ground, so an extension to their patch was cleared. I have seen so many chicken pens now made up from electric fencing, which I wonder if its as effective on feathery friends, is since you don't see a sparrow being zapped by 5000 watts!

That said, the fencing up, and hens loving their new playground. Tiger worries me with his casual saunter through their pen, I hope he doesn't frazzle those whiskers.
