This motto seemed rather a good one I thought, so the boy was entrusted with the capturing of my spirit.

Today was a Gaudi day, so the queues at the la Pedrara and Sagrada Familia were tamed. The first visit was excellent, the building really lives and is a work of genius. The unfinished bassilica on the other hand was just a big, fancy church. Sorry if that makes me sound uncultured, but I've seen York minister and quite frankly there's only one winner there...
And BTW the combined cost to visit both was almost £100 for the three of us. The great tourist rip off continues...
The sun did shine though, and despite the cost, Barcelona is a fine place to visit.
