King of the Rock

Joe was sitting up here while waiting for me to take my pictures.  I think at one time it was an actual seat but has suffered some erosion through the years.   There must have been a huge storm this winter as the parking lot is closed and part of the pavement was broken up by waves and flying logs.  Not sure what they plan to do but, you can only do so much when faced with the sea.   Whidbey Island is on a straight shot to the ocean so gets more of the storms.  You can look up Whidbey Island on your maps and see where we are.   Deception Pass State Park is a cool place and lots to do here.
