That's Mt Iron

This morning I parked by the lake and walked along the track to the local cafe, to have a cuppa and scone with the church ladies.  As you can see the lake was lovely and still.  It's been a perfect Autumn day.  I walked back to the car along the same track.  The wind had got up a bit, so the reflections were gone.  +13C.

Last night I had another look for the Aurora, but there was nothing doing.  At least the stars were out, but not cold enough for the Aurora to appear.  I'll have another look tonight, and may be lucky!!
