2024 Saturday — Late Evening

I captured this just as the sun was setting beyond the hills to our north. Previous to this the accordion shades were covering most of the window because the sun is extremely bright as it sinks and therefore shines directly through that glass.

I did lots of emailing photos and videos back and forth with my sister in Portland today. Her garden is her focus and all the dogs she cares for in her K9 Kamp are also her focus. So after she sends me a garden photo, I then send her some photos from ours. Her Pacific Northwest yard looks much different than our California Central Coast yard, so we have fun comparing places.

Today was mostly overcast and gray, but then late afternoon the sun came out from behind the clouds; it was an immediate change of scenery.
