First day of freelance

What a lovely day today!

The sun has been shining, the temperature has been mid-20's and it was my first official day of freelancing.

It started off with a lie in till 10ish, then a nice amble in the sun with the dog, followed by smoked salmon and scrambled egg breakfast.

I did an hour or so work, then headed off to Hull to pick E&M up from school, as promised. Upon my car journey I had several phone calls trying to secure my services for next weeks freelance appointments. I felt in demand, which was nice!

Once E&M were collected we took an excitable Gracie Grumples into her final school visit before she starts in September. Her school and classroom was very impressive and September can't come quick enough for her!

I think I'm looking forward to this new chapter of my life, if today is anything to go by!
