Buddy

This is Ferguson & Leah "fossilizing" dinosaurs in the sand. Today was F's first proper school experience alongside all the other children there.
Leah has volunteered to be F's little "buddy" & help him settle in, help with getting his dinner tray & things like that in the autumn term. He was quite spurious with her at first but very soon she was holding his hand & had him playing with her & mixing with all the other children & her year 5 friends.
I'm really pleased at his excitement & he even proclaimed that he need not go back to pre-school now as he was at big school.
I will probably be the one sobbing when he starts in September..
