Hiking Above Los Angeles

The family clan went for a hike today. Jeff's brother lives in Santa Monica and we have been coming here for many years. Now that our younger daughter moved here a few months ago, we get to visit both of them.

The hike was in the mountains above Malibu Beach. Luckily, it was cool weather compared to the Ramona Falls hike we did last Sunday. After the hike we had lunch at Cafe Gratitude, a vegan restaurant, where every dish is ordered with the prefix "I am ...: and the dishes are named like "Humble' which we ordered. It contained brown rice and spinach, lentils, corn and a cashew cream curry sauce. It was healthy and delicious. We all split a piece of vegan mocha cheese-less cake, also very delicious. It is so nice to be with family . We wish our other daughter were here too.
