Ramadan
After I’d signed off, I headed into town for my pedicure appointment. My toenails need attention so that I don’t cause any issues with the toe where I had an ingrowing nail. I just made the appointment in time (by taking the Jubilee line) and had a lovely conversation with E. She is also suffering from severe shoulder problems, and we commiserated with each other while coming up with all the everyday situations that become difficult when shoulder movements are restricted. I felt guilty when I left that my tip wasn’t good enough. I shall have to recify that next time.
I decided to walk to Waterloo though London and the lights at Piccadilly Circus. Just beyond, on the approach to Leicester Square, the lights for Ramadan are up again. I think I photographed them before. Nice to brighten the dark nights. In a week or so it will still be light at this time.
