I got off the train at Shepherd’s Bush and got a coffee before calling Mum. She was due to leave for the hospital just before 9am, so I caught her before 8:30am.

I took my time walking through the Westfield complex from Shepherd’s Bush to Wood Lane. It was a nice morning but I spent too much time worrying that I should have gone to Shrewsbury.
