Eyes

The clock finally has new batteries; credit has been added to my ChatGPT account to stop a couple of services failing, and the washing machine repair man is booked. Altogether, those tasks took less than ten minutes. It's surprisingly easy to get things done when you need to.

We met J&M at The Alexandra for the Monday quiz. This was the second time we had been, and once again, it was a thoroughly lovely evening. The dinner special was pork belly and red cabbage. We struggled more this time around. We lost count of where we were placed. Last time, we started strong with the 'name the celebrity from their eyes' round. This time, scoring 7 out of 10 on that round put us on the back foot from the start. I am glad PY and M were there. I would have been terrible if I was playing alone. And, of course, we have booked again.
