Golden highlights

Was just about ready to go out to Keepfit when I thought I'd better check it was on - and it wasn't as the tutor's daughter was ill.
Instead I did a bit of gardening and then had a slow run by the ponds stopping to look at flowers, ducklings, beaver damage etc and pick some wild garlic. It was mainly grey and much cooler but the sun made it through at times and I was in the right place to catch it shing on the duck family (there was another family of 6 but no sun).
The original forecast had been for rain all day but it didn't start until 1430 and, so far, has been light.
This afternoon I got on with the dressmaking and prayer meeting this evening.
