Loving Memory

This was the "just in case" blip as I left for work early this morning. As it turned out there was little opportunity throughout the day for photography. So it is bring used! And happy to use it.

This was a rose we saw at the Glasgow Garden Festival in 1988 (when Andy Murray was 1 year old!) We ordered three plants each of which still survives despite my pruning technique and black spot.

Apart from the gorgeous lush velvety appearance it has a lovely delicate perfume: both aspects making so attractive to us all those years ago .. And still today.
