Ragged Irises

I've been waiting for the buds to open, and it looks very much as though a slug or snail got there first, which is a nuisance as the white variety are few and far between in the garden. After a wettish morning the weather rapidly improved after lunch with warm sunshine coming through though tempered by a strong breeze.*
