Final

The season of cup finals continued at Skipton Town where Gargrave (red) and Cowling (green) were contesting the Craven League President’s Trophy Challenge Competition (i.e. the league cup). 

A delay on the train meant I missed the first goal, which had been scored by Gargrave. The rest of the first half was well contested but with few chances for either side. The tie remained in the balance until the last 15 minutes, when Gargrave pulled away for a 4-1 win. Trophies were duly awarded (extras).
