On our morning walk
It has been a busy day - after breakfast a morning walk with Xena, where she bumped into her favourite Whippet named Dash and had a good run around with him. The two of them were so fast they gave each other a good workout. One little Frenchie got a bit cocky with two Weimaraners in the woods this morning, snarled at them and was surprised when they growled back again and there was quite a bit of snarling going on with the owner of the Weimies trying to pull them off the Frenchie. Well, the cheeky Frenchie started it and just because it is a small dog does not mean it gets the sympathy vote because bigger dogs told it off in no uncertain terms. Xena was standing back from this and just looked on staying well out of it.
Then off to to my golf session, we were working on drivers today which was a bit of a workout, especially after you have hit about two buckets of balls with a driver - on the golf course you will only use it about 15-18 times depending on the hole. I ironed out a problem but then it seemed to creep back in again, sigh....coffee afterwards with the ladies in my group was a nice treat.
After lunch I had to go to Guildford to collect some trousers that were being hemmed, and then I went to Waitrose to get a click and collect parcel. Also had a trip to the Post Office to return a parcel.
It was another beautiful sunny day, although the afternoon was sunnier than the morning. Fingers crossed this good weather stays until the weekend as we have plans that need good weather - we are going to Glyndebourne.
