Happy Bug Day

Was invited to a cocktail and tour event at the Dovecot Studios tonight, looking at the Andy Warhol textiles designs exhibition. His career in the 50's and 60's as a commercial artist really does explain his later fine/pop art career! Lots of graphic design using repetition and bright colours.

Extras of the mainly handmade clothes produced at the time from the fabrics he designed. Some very wacky patterns, especially the fabric covered in socks.
