Kittiwakes!

Went down to Newcastle to meet up with former colleagues at a wee lunch in Gateshead. The train journey was a bit surprising - I hadn't previously experienced stopping at East Linton and Reston stations! Walked across via the High Level Bridge, had some enjoyable blether, admired JN's snazzy new wheelchair, and walked back via the tilting bridge and kittiwake central  (on the Baltic and the Tyne Bridge but here lined up on the parapet of the bridge carrying the East Coast Main Line). Returned to the station via Dogs Leap Stairs - phew, it's been a while!
