Golden Grebe
We were up bright and early, so we decided we'd take a chance and nip down to Ham Wall before the forecast rains arrived.
I've gone with this great crested grebe, who was defending her nest from incautious coots, but to be honest the experience of walking through clouds of literally thousands of freshly minted four spotted chasers was something that will stay with me for a while.
I've put one chaser as an extra, but around that time my camera battery suddenly decided to be exhausted! I'd deliberately changed the battery before we left, and intended to pull the other battery from the charger but forgot. It should have been good for 600 shots... ah well.
Now, to the important business of Tiny Tuesday! It was once more a real challenge to pull only five shots out of six dozen, but after a long consideration and a really strong coffee, here are the Hearts and Honourable Mentions...
Favs go to:
Aliscotia, for her jumping spider
CarolineJay, for a golden succulent
davidc, for a hilarious dead bee on flower!
Marlieske, for a golden hour dandelion seed
Chris_P, with a hazardous grater on every level!
Honourable Mentions:

AnnieBelle, with a wiggle-less howeverfly
freespiral, with a rocky daisy
haenku, with a lovely geranium bud
jensphotos, for a ravenous grasshopper

I'm already looking forward to next Tuesday, when the tag will be TT469
