Mixed weather day.

Sunshine & showers. More like April than May. Had phone consultation with a nurse from the hospital. She ran through my health questionnaire, which took 2 minutes. Then we had a ‘discussion’ for about 15 mins on whether I would be safe to return to work after the suggested 2 days off post op. She really didn’t understand my concerns about the huge difference between the prescription of the glasses she suggested I continue to use. I foresee headaches & distance judging issues. Not a good idea when driving. At the end she suggested that I get a plain lens put into an old pair of glasses (which is what I was planning on doing in preparation anyway!!!). Felt let down by the lack of advice as this is so far out of my realm of experience.
