After work amble

After the conference in Aviemore I walked up the hill through native woodland to the ridge.   You could still see snow on some of the hills despite the fact that I felt I was getting sunburnt.   The recovering woodland was great with sounds of willow warbler and a cuckoo.  A colleague saw a black grouse yesterday but alas it was not there for me.
