Another lovely warm sunny day. Finally stopped procrastinating and bought my new mattress. Did a bit of gardening, shopped at the Pillars and went to Monimal  to photograph the wild garlic then drove off to Birnie  smelling of garlic the whole way. The swans were out with the new cygnets but too far away to photograph. Stood chatting for ages to a bloke who had been visiting Birnie as long as I had, long before there had been a proper path round it.
