Den Haag

I came here for the painters and maybe the pottery. Gordon came for the same (minus the pottery perhaps) but was interested in this statue of William of Orange outside the Noordeinde Palace. I am not about to say anything about it, except that it made a nice photo and it is just by our hotel and is as far as we walked this evening when we arrived.

A day of rail travel and we have made it to The Hague. A nice hotel, a beer, some food . . . and we are exhausted. (It was a late night last night after the theatre, but we thoroughly enjoyed ‘Standing at the Sky’s Edge’.)
