Hunstanton Flyer
We visited friends in Cambridgeshire and headed off to Hunstanton. There is a magnificent beach which flows out in the Wash. The beach goes way out and at low tide there are multiple sandbanks and other hazards.
Consequently the lifeboat is busy, except there's a "lifehovercraft" as this is the fastest way to get across the sands in an emergency.
The benefit of the craft is that it is easily maintained, the controls are rudimentary and it is powered by 2 VW GTI engines.
After that we played a spot of Pitch n Put in the light drizzle. Textbook British seaside stuff.
I've broken my blip run this week, a consequence of bad weather and badder migraines.
