Yep..More birds!

Today was book club and I was the host, so my morning was pretty busy getting everything ready. The meeting went well;  the Zoom call eventually worked, lunch went off without a hitch or a culinary disaster, and everyone liked the book - The Brilliant Life of Eudora Honeysett.

The book falls into that genre that seems popular these days - an aging main character who is fed up with life and wants to end it until something or someone convinces her or him that life is worth living. It is very much like A Man Called Ove, except in this case, it involves Medically Assisted Death. It is a really good read... charming, heart-warming, up-lifting..and provided a good topic for discussion...  

I felt a lot better today than I did yesterday, but was still tired and wanting to just relax for the rest of the day; hence..more bird pix!  A quiet spell sitting on the deck watching the birds was a good way to end the day..The usual residents were flitting about and this goldfinch was one that was up for posing, but this time I also caught the sparrow going in and out of its house.
