Wild rose

We got the news this morning that our son-in-law's mum, Lil, passed away during the night. A very sad time for the family. The wild rose is the floral emblem of Alberta, where Lil was from. Very coincidental that I saw the first one I've seen this spring on my walk this morning. RIP, Lil.
