Coffee and books
After breakfast we walked down to the Tees Street Café for the usual Friday morning coffee. The group wasn’t as large as usual but everyone had a good chat and we all enjoyed the company. The time passed quickly and it was lunchtime before we left.
After a quick lunch at The Brydone Hotel we walked along to Bookarama, where we stayed until 4pm trying our best to keep the shelves tidy and chatting to customers. After walking home I went out to the garden to cut some rhubarb, which I cooked in the oven sprinkled with brown sugar rather than stewing it. MrM prepared the dough for two loaves of wholemeal bread then went to do a small shop at the supermarket. Meanwhile I prepared supper and we emptied the dishwasher. After supper the two loaves of bread were baked while we tidied up and watched Celebrity Baker, which was very amusing.
It was then time to do Wordle and Quordle after which I also dozed off to sleep and then realised that I needed an emergency blip, which is one of the two new chairs we picked up in Christchurch on Sunday, along with a cushion designed by MrM.
I still haven’t been on blip so am way behind with comments.
