Planted Boots

I took some of my kids' favorite boots and put plants in them as soon as they were too small to wear. These boots usually live in my classroom along with my old favorite planted hiking boots.

So today I was playing with late afternoon sun, macro shooting, composition, DOF, and effects... of all the different shots this one stood out for me the most. I learned a few new things doing this shot.
