In the forest…

with its carpet of Violets, Primroses, Butterwort, Stitchwort, surrounded by Broom, Bird Cherry and Rowan blossom, with Chiffchaffs, Willow Warblers, Bullfinches and Tits all singing, Large Red Damselflies in profusion  and the sloughed skin of a Slowworm on the track was idyllic on this glorious day. Spent hours here, euphemism for getting lost, knew vaguely where I was and was incredibly hot! Coffee back at the car tasted good too!
