Weaver's workshop

Next excavation, a nineteenth century workshop for a weaver, at the heart of Dunning. Fascinated to learn that this small village once hosted 500 cotton weavers, who prospered after the collapse of the linen weaving industry. Made me smile to find it situated in Thimble Row.
