End of surgery

I finished my surgical rotation in theatres today: I got to see an above the knee amputation. The patient had a log list if co-morbidities, so it had to be done under spinal- I couldn't get over how he managed to sleep through the whole thing, without any sedation/medication.
I'm off to the cinema again tonight, today's blip is of the laundry part of town. The picture doesn't do it justice, but there were clothes and sheets as far as the eye could see!
