How green is your valley

Pretty green if it is anything like mine!!  
Beautiful, beautiful day spent largely in the garden enjoying the warmth and the birdsong.  I did get a few things done but also enjoyed listening as Jasper descended from the climbing hydrangea.. again and again.. there are pigeons nesting in there.. but I doubt they have any young there for now.. she is terrified of pigeons at the best of times!!  
Unfortunately the robin alarm was loud and persistant and on inspection I saw that the blooming cat was climbing up inside the very prickly juniper tree where the robin is nesting (quite high up this year I think) I am grateful we were able to extract her from the tree by poking her with a stick and then encouraging her down.. it was a prickly descent.. I couldn't bear it if she got the robin babies.. but I also know that I cannot sit outside all day monitoring the situation either.. oh dear!  We managed to get her to come inside so the robin could do the nightime feeding in peace.
We are tucking into a lovely Cook Curry for tonight.. such a treat not to have to cook it all and also to know it will be delicious!
