The 5th family member!
It's been such a full day, it's now almost midnight, and no essay written!
School run/walk with Nate and then home to see Gemma for a catch up. I was delighted to see tulips in Aldi (fresh cut flowers are a real luxury in a hot country, definitely not something you can buy in a supermarket normally!) so bought us both a bunch. Straight from Gemma I went to have a pastoral with one of the team. She's volunteering here for 10 weeks. Lovely to bump into Mercedes and Carol and have a rapid catch up with them too. And then straight from the pastoral I went to meet Andrej who's back on the streets. He'd got a bag of washing he needs doing...I'd forgotten that 1 bag usually means a huge camping bag, jam packed full of stuff, at least 5 washes in there I think!
Back up to school to get Nate and then this lovely surprise of Mitch mid afternoon. Good to have a cup of tea and catch up a bit. Plus he hung a picture for me - hooray!
From that Nate and I headed around the bay to see Stef on her birthday Eve and give her a little gift. We had a lot longer than anticipated and didn't get home til 9,45!! Bed and I'd promised Asha a film night, so we've been watching a programme about octopuses...such incredible creatures!
Today I'm grateful for;
1) Fresh flowers - such a joy!
2) Time with Gemma.
3) Mitch coming round. We miss him.
