Camouflage

It was hard to see where this butterfly started and the flower ended in the little bit of bright sun we had today. Too bad about that big old bud front and center. 

The week ended on a sad note as our friend and neighbor decided this week to stop all chemotherapy and treatment for her lung cancer as it has metastasized to her brain and there is a new larger lesion. Before her diagnosis and even after, Miss Sandie was so full of life and vinegar - sad to see her defeated but we have to respect her decision. It will be difficult for her partner of 30-something years too.
