Body Sculpture

An arctic breeze swept through today so it was a good one to take refuge in an art galllery. I was meeting a friend to watch The Gleaners and I (a tie in with one of the exhibitions). I got there early so I was able to finally catch Jordan Wolfson’s Body Sculpture, an amazingly emotive animatronic performance. it was surprising how much could be conveyed by two robotic arms connected to a metal cube. I found my hands restlessly joining in, and I enjoyed the percussive sound effects too. The man pictured didn’t seem to be enjoying the sound so much but the couple were entranced!

The film was excellent too.
