Walking through this little wooded area, away from the main road and traffic, makes necessary shopping trips just a bit more bearable.The cow parsley is at its best just now, 
and there are a few wild flowers  dotted here and there. Watered the pots and indoor plants at B's this morning, while she is away sunning herself in Corfu...not jealous! The weather is gorgeous here today and I'm sat in the garden, very peaceful at present,  just birdsong, reading our current book group choice, The Heart's Invisible Furies, by John Boyne...my recommendation, and one of my absolute favourites....
