Another birthday

Tonight we met up with church friends for a belated birthday meal. They embarrassed me in front of the whole pub with this cake! Lovely to be thought of though!

Today would have also been my mums 61st birthday. Despite the complexity of our relationship I do miss her. I think as adults we would have probably been closer but hindsight is a marvellous thing.

Quieter exam day today at least! The calm before the storm that is hell tomorrow!
