Roses doing well

Exciting rugby this afternoon and Norman was enjoying it. I escaped into the garden where it seemed warmer than indoors. Armed with my camera, I was conscious of the fact that all my blips recently have been flowers in the garden, so I tried to take something different. I took a picture of the silver birch logs (extra) but it wasn’t very inspiring. I photographed the gravel bed which is a feature in the centre of the garden (extra) to prove that I need a new gardener. In the end, of course the roses won again.
It was good to be outside after another frustrating morning on the WI website. George’s hints last time worked well, today’s was a different problem!
