Snail’s pace
Once the supermarket shop was done this morning, I was out in the garden again, getting the pots ready for the tomato and aubergine plants to go into. A bit cooler and with more cloud cover so I did better outside. Also cleared also me of the forget me bits that are going over, where this little chap was hiding. I threw him out into the lawn in the hope that a bird would find him tasty, but I’m not sure if that happened. I also gave the buddleia a Chelsea Chop to try and prevent it taking over the border this year. No idea if that will work or if pruning it.l now will make it even more vigorous, but it’s worth a try, otherwise it stars to shade out a lot of the plants in a couple of months.
