A Spring Afternoon

A horrible foggy morning and quite cold c10C. I had a hair appointment first thing, then I got a paper and went to the bakers, then got some more live mealworms for the chicks. I was hoping to get some tumbling tom tomato plants from the garden centre, but they had sold out (mine from seed have just stopped growing). Once home I did a bit more sorting out. This afternoon was completely different to the morning, with lots of lovely sun and 17C, so I mowed the lawn, sowed more lettuce, some cress and some chive seeds and topped up some pots with compost ready to get some bedding plants. There were lots of visitors to the blossom on my pyracantha hedge, so I got this hover fly photo for a blip.
