Love in a mist

This Nigella bud caught my eye as I was gardening today, it's like a perfectly wrapped parcel with a drawing of the flower-to-be on the wrapping. 
It was supposed to rain but it's stayed away. I did some more planting and as well as my egg shells (which have run out) I am using wool pellets as a natural slug deterrent. Fingers crossed. I've also added some Scottish volcanic ash to the earth around the new plants. A wee bit of Scotland in my garden!
