Celebrations.

We were up early (ish) today to travel up to Doncaster for the Challenge Cup semi final between Wigan Warriors and Hull KR, who thrashed Wigan at the last live game we were able to get to. 

On that occasion we were really bad and they did enough in the first half to put the game out of reach. Today the stakes were much higher than a couple of league points and the Warriors were ready for the challenge. Although we were fewer in numbers than their fans once again (Doncaster is pretty much round the corner for Hull, whereas it's 81 miles for Wigan fans.) we made loads of noise. Of course a neutral venue doesn't allow them to create the hostile atmosphere they do at home anyway. 

The final score was 38-6 to Wigan, and it would have been more if all the conversion kicks had been scored. Not that it matters, we are in the final at Wembley now!

Brian is due to be working that day, but he will try to get someone to swap!
