After the Rain

The big rain was only rain in my village, a lot of it, but not causing much damage.
Other parts of the state and cities and villages not far from here and in our neighbouring state, the Saarland, are still under water. Small streams flooded villages and streets. And the wave from the Saar river is now going up the Mosel. We are very lucky with our village on the edge of the Bruch.

I walked to the Kranichwoog tower again, was by myself at first (when I spotted the hare in the main photo and the heron in the extra). And then a load of people arrived all at once, like a bus load. It became very loud again and I was glad when they left.
